Susan McCloud THE JOY WITHIN ME!
The BIRTH of a BOOK is much like the birth of a child.
Before the EMERGENCE into reality there are months and months of effort, patience, hard work -- months of
hopes, frustrations -- months of walking into the unknown, holding onto what, for a time, is only a drean.
TODAY a new book has come to light: WOMEN of the RESTORATION. It was my honor to reserach the lives of
TWELVE remarkable early Women in the History of the Church: to tell their stories, their heartaches, their
fears, their faith, their triumphs.
I feel their Spirits in the pages of the books, and I believe the readers will, too.

CHRISTMAS is on its way.
I PROMISE you that you will never regret the enrichment that will come into
your lives by getting to know these Women--as friends from a time not
forgotten nor lost!

I’m so excited about this new book of yours!
ReplyDeleteDear Susan, I just finished your beautiful and inspiring book, Woman of the Restoration. I loved it. I had to write you wondering if you would remember me. I babysat for your family when I was at BYU. My name is Debbie Naegle, but used to be Debbie Marble. I served a mission to Argentina and married my sweetheart John Naegle. We have 4 children, 11 grandchildren and live in Garland, Tx, close to Dallas. We have had many blessings and opportunities. I am a counselor in our Stake Relief Society and also an ordinance worker at the Dallas Temple. My husband serves as a counselor in the Bishopric of a Single Adult Ward. I am also a retired teacher, having taught Spanish and ESL in public schools here. Again I am so proud to have known you. With love, Debbie
ReplyDeleteDebbie! I was just looking up this ridiculous "old" blog and found your entry. (I've had hip surgery, which has slowed me down for awhile). OF COURSE I remember you! Very well. I am thrilled at the blessings which have come into your life. I cannot believe you have 11 grandchildren. I have been an ordinance worker in the Provo Temple; how it hones and lifts your spiritual life. IF you EVER return here and read this, write me a note at 588 E. Center, and we can get in touch once more. with love, Susan
